Baked BBQ Chicken

This is great for the nights you are craving a little bit of summer - but it's too cold to go out and have a backyard BBQ.  The Northwoods seasoning I used is something we found from Penzeys.  We love their spices (and Penzey's has no idea who we are) so I thought I would share one we like in case you are looking for something new.




Baked BBQ Chicken
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut in half
1 T. Northwoods seasoning
1/2 -3/4 c. BBQ sauce - we don't like drippy chicken so use at your discretion.

Preheat oven to 400.

Place chicken in bowl and toss with seasoning. Pour in sauce and stir to coat.




Lay chicken on baking sheet.  Cook for 20-25 minutes depending on how large your pieces are.



I served with asparagus and tangy mustard cauliflower.
