If the monster cookie recipe was too much cookie and you prefer the more simple traditional M&M cookie - this simple recipe is sure to please!
1 c. crisco
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 t. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 t. soda
1 t. salt
1 1/2 c. M&Ms
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream together crisco and brown sugar and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Fold in M&Ms. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.

Peanut Butter Fudge
This recipe came from my aunt Carolyn. Best peanut butter fudge I have ever had!
3 T. butter
3 T. butter
1 c. evaporated milk
2 c. sugar
Combine all in an electric skillet set at 280 degrees. Bring to a boil and boil for 4 minutes. Turn off heat and add:
1 c. mini marshmallows
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
t. vanilla
Pour into greased 8x8 pan. Let set and cut into squares.

Peppermint Brownies
These are great for parties, especially if the holidays are getting ahead of you and you need a festive, easy dessert.
Peppermint Brownies
1 family sized Brownie mix (for a 9x13) prepared according to package directions
Vanilla Buttercream icing (I use homemade, but store bought works well)
1/2 package of Andes peppermint crunch mint thins coarsely chopped
Frost brownies once they are cooled. Sprinkle with crushed mints. Cut into small squares.

No Bake Chocolate Drops - Holiday Baking

1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. marshmallow creme
1/4 c. peanut butter
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 t. vanilla
Combine sugar, cocoa, butter and milk. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add marshmallow creme, peanut butter, oatmeal and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.

Peppermint Christmas Candy

1 24-oz. package of vanilla candy melts/almond bark
Peppermint Christmas Candy
1 24-oz. package of vanilla candy melts/almond bark
10 candy canes crushed
Line 15x10 jelly roll pan with waxed paper. Melt candy melts using your favorite method (microwave, double boiler). Stir in candy cane pieces. Spread thinly onto wax paper. Let set until candy is firm. Break into pieces and store in airtight containers.
