Country Fried Steak

Two or three times a year - we have country fried steak.  One of the few things I fry and it's a treat to have for dinner.  Everyone loves it, especially with mashed potatoes and gravy.

4 beef cube steaks

Flour
Bread Crumbs/Cracker Crumbs
Salt and Pepper
3 eggs, beaten

Vegetable oil

Breading Station:
In 3 dishes, place the following ingredients to bread the steak in this order:
1) Flour
2) Beaten Eggs
3) Flour, Seasonings, Bread Crumbs or Cracker Crumbs  (just mix up enough to coat - I eyeball this no exact measurements)

Set Electric Skillet to 350.  Add enough vegetable oil to make the level high enough to only cover 1/2 the steak...not enough to submerge them.  Once oil is hot, add steak and cook 5-6 minutes per side.

Once steaks are done, remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
