Strawberry Trifle

This was what I made for dessert for Easter. We had smoked chicken, Veg-All casserole, fresh green beans, potato salad and rolls. This dessert went great because after that meal no one wants a huge rich dessert.

1 Angel food cake, cut into cubes (you will probably have some leftover so you may only want to cut up 3/4 of the cake)
2 small boxes of vanilla instant pudding
3 cups of milk (I used skim)
1 large container of fresh strawberries, sliced
1 carton of cool Whip ( I used Lite)

Mix the pudding and milk and let chill until set (you can be slicing your strawberries or cake while it sets)

Layer cake, pudding, strawberries and cool whip. Repeat as many times as your dish and ingredients will allow. I got 3 layers. Top with a few strawberries. It's better if it sets overnight or a few hours.
