A good recipe for making cut-out cookies. Gracie and I are making some today as Easter Eggs. These are the same ones I make for wedding showers and parties in the shape of cakes with monograms on them. I need to come up with a cute idea for baby showers!
Cream together:
2 sticks of butter
2/3 c. sugar
Mix in:
1 Egg
Add:
1 t. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
Chill 3-4 hours. Roll out and cut out your favorite shapes. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
