Glazed Lemon Cake

1 Box Lemon Supreme Cake Mix
 Bake as directed on package, making 5 thin layers.  Use 8-inch round pans - 1 c. batter per layer.

Icing:
1 egg
2 T. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
zest and juice of 1 lemon

Whisk together egg, cornstarch and sugar in a medium bowl.  Add 1 cup of boiling water and the zest and juice of 1 lemon.  Microwave icing for 1 minute and stir.  Continue microwaving and stirring until icing thickens, probaby 3-4 times.  Spread icing between each layer while icing is hot.  Top cake with remaining icing and allow it to run down the sides.
